Job Description :
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with Canadian accounting standards (IFRS) or Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Tax Compliance: Prepare and file various tax returns, including income tax, GST/HST, and payroll taxes. Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to management based on financial analysis.
Audit Support: Coordinate and assist with external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations to auditors as required.
Financial Analysis: Conduct variance analysis, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
