Job Description :

The Export Documentation Executive is responsible for preparing, managing, and verifying all export-related documents to ensure smooth shipment, compliance with international trade regulations, and timely coordination with logistics partners, customers, and internal departments. The role requires strong knowledge of export procedures and hands-on experience with SAP, Tally, or ERP systems.

Recommended Skills :

- Prepare and manage all export documentation such as Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, Bill of Lading, Shipping Instructions, etc.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, CHA, transporters, and export agencies.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, LC (Letter of Credit) terms, and international trade laws.
- Enter and update order details, shipment schedules, and documentation in SAP/Tally/ERP software.
- Track shipments and maintain accurate records for audits and internal reporting.
- Follow up with banks for negotiation of export documents under LC/advance payment terms.
- Prepare pre-shipment and post-shipment documents and submit them to relevant authorities.
- Communicate with buyers regarding shipment updates, document requirements, and export queries.
- Support logistics team in booking containers and managing export schedules.
- Maintain databases, filing systems, and ensure proper documentation as per company policies.
