  Job Description

  Responsibilities:

  Daily Production Execution & Shift Management: Oversee daily production activities on assembly lines, machining bays, or fabrication shop floors; assign tasks to employees, keep an eye on hourly production outputs, and make sure shift volume quotas are safely met.

  Line Balancing & Cycle Time Optimisation: To optimise shop-floor throughput, conduct time-and-motion studies, balance assembly lines, eliminate process bottlenecks, and use Lean approaches to analyse takt time, cycle times, and workstation workloads.

  Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) & Quality Compliance: Ensure that engineering drawings, work instructions, routing sheets, and SOPs are strictly followed; cooperate with Quality Assurance to quickly address rework cycles, line faults, and first-off sample rejections.

  Waste Reduction & Continuous Improvement (Kaizen): To cut setup times, material scrap, and energy usage, promote Lean Manufacturing initiatives, apply 5S, poka-yoke (error-proofing), SMED, and Kaizen projects.

  Shop-Floor Safety & Cross-Functional Coordination: Communicate with Maintenance Engineers for equipment maintenance and Tool Room leaders for tool availability; guarantee complete adherence to plant Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and machine safety guards.

   

  Experience: 0 to 3 yrs

  Education: Diploma/BE in Mech
