  The main 'Shop-Floor Operations Anchor, Line Efficiency Specialist, Quality Engine & Manufacturing Compliance Guardian' in each of our manufacturing facilities is the Production Engineer in Manufacturing Operations – Plant Operations, Shop-Floor Execution, Line Efficiency, Quality Assurance & Production Analytics Specialist. Your main responsibility is to oversee, manage, and optimise daily manufacturing line operations, machinery utilisation, material flow, and assembly schedules, while Plant Managers, Operations Directors, and Supply Chain Heads set macro operational strategies, overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) targets, capacity plans, and plant financial goals. As the "Guardian of Assembly Precision, Line Throughput, Zero-Defect Quality, and Shop-Floor Safety," you assume direct execution responsibility for transforming engineered components and raw materials into completed goods in accordance with stringent production goals and engineering drawings.

   

  Key Skills: 

  Shop-Floor Engineering & Assembly Mastery: Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing procedures, material handling systems, fabrication/machining concepts, assembly line balancing, and process routing.

  Lean Manufacturing & Quality Problem-Solving: The application of structured problem-solving techniques (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone Diagram, CAPA) and Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, SMED, Poka-Yoke).

  Equipment and Automation Knowledge: A solid grasp of automated assembly equipment, jigs and fixtures, industrial machinery, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and fundamental preventative maintenance procedures.

  Industrial Safety & EHS Standards: A solid foundation in risk assessments, incident prevention procedures, personal protective equipment (PPE) enforcement, and factory safety laws.

   

  Experience: 3 to 7 yrs
