• Service Engineer Equipment & Field Support

  Job Description

  Duties:

  Execute on-site installation, assembly, alignment, commissioning, and final testing of industrial machinery and manufacturing equipment.

  Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM), calibration, and comprehensive health checks according to service schedules and manufacturer standards.

  Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment failures under tight field timelines.

  Train client maintenance teams and operators on standard equipment operating procedures, daily maintenance routines, and basic troubleshooting techniques.

  Prepare detailed field service reports, breakdown analysis documents, commissioning certificates, and spare parts recommendations for each site visit.

  Identify spare parts requirements, recommend retrofits or upgrades, and collaborate with internal sales and engineering teams to generate service revenue.

  Strict adherence to field safety protocols, client plant regulations, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures

   

  Focus Skills:

  Strong multi-disciplinary technical expertise across mechanical assemblies, electrical circuits, hydraulics, pneumatics, and control systems (PLCs, VFDs).

  Hands-on experience with field diagnostics, root-cause breakdown analysis, and precision measuring/calibration tools.

  Ability to read and interpret mechanical assembly drawings, electrical wiring schematics, and pneumatic/hydraulic layout diagrams.

  Exceptional customer-facing communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills in field environments.

  Willingness to travel extensively on short notice to various client manufacturing facilities and industrial sites
