  Job Description:

  The Tool Maker manufactures, modifies, repairs, and maintains press tools, stamping dies, plastic injection moulds, jigs, fixtures, and gauges across manufacturing operations. This role ensures precision tool fitment, surface finish, dimensional compliance, and tool life optimization to minimize production downtime and maintain component quality standards

   

  Key Skills: 

  Education: ITI / Tool & Die Maker Trade Certificate / Polytechnic Diploma in Tool & Die Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

  Experience: 2–6+ years of hands-on experience as a Tool Maker or Die Maker in precision manufacturing (automotive press shops, injection moulding, sheet metal, or die casting).

  Technical Mastery: Blueprint/GD&T reading, precision measurement (micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators), tool steel selection, heat treatment awareness, and precision grinding.
