• Electronics Technician PCB Assembly & Rework

  Job Description

  Responsibilities:

  Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electronic circuit boards, power supply modules, relay cards, and control units down to the component level (through-hole and surface-mount technology / SMT soldering).

  Perform routine testing, calibration, and preventive maintenance on shop-floor industrial sensors (proximity, photoelectric, temperature, pressure), transducers, and measurement devices.

  Install, wire, and replace servo drives, motor drives (VFDs), digital readout units (DROs), PLC I/O modules, and operator interface terminals (HMIs).

  Use electronic testing instruments including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, signal generators, logic probes, and regulated DC power supplies to diagnose signal noise, voltage drops, and faulty logic circuits.

  Maintain clean, organized electronic repair benches and strictly enforce Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) safety protocols (grounding wrist straps, anti-static mats, ESD packaging) to prevent static damage to sensitive components.

  Document work orders, replacement parts used, defect logs, and calibration records in physical maintenance logs or Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

  Follow plant Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and high-voltage safety precautions during machine electrical panel servicing

   

  Experience: 0 to 3 yrs

  Education: Diploma/BE in ECE
