  Job Description:

  The primary "CAM Programming Engine, Precision Toolpath Creator, CNC Machine Setup Anchor & Machining Accuracy Guardian" for our manufacturing and machining operations is the CNC Programmer in Manufacturing Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM), G-Code / M-Code Authoring, Multi-Axis CNC Machining, Toolpath Optimisation & Manufacturing Analytics Specialist. Your main responsibility is to convert 2D engineering drawings and 3D CAD models into highly optimised, precise, and safe CNC machine programs (G-Code/M-Code) for multi-axis CNC Milling, Turning, and VMC/HMC equipment, while Operations Directors, Manufacturing Managers, and Chief Technology Officers (CTO) set macro production goals, capital equipment investments, quality standards, and operational frameworks.

   

  Key Skills: 

  Proficiency in complex CAM programming platforms (Mastercam, Siemens NX CAM, SolidCAM, Edgecam, Esprit) and 2D/3D CAD design systems (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor) for the extraction of part geometry.

  G-Code/M-Code Authoring & CNC Controller Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of macro programming, controller systems (Fanuc, Siemens Sinumerik, Heidenhain, Haas, Mazak), and manual G-code/M-code editing.

  Cutting Tool Technology & GD&T Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of ASME Y14.5-compliant Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), cutting tool materials and coatings, chip load calculations, speeds and feeds science, and fixture mechanics.

  Shop Floor Prove-Out & Problem-Solving Capability: Excellent practical experience configuring equipment, establishing work coordinate systems (G54-G59), safely proving out new programs, and resolving surface polish, dimensional drift, and machining chatter problems.
