  Job Description

  Responsibilities:

  Perform routine preventive, predictive, and emergency electrical maintenance on industrial machinery, motor control centers (MCC), distribution boards, and transformers.

  Wire, assemble, install, and test electrical control panels, circuit breakers, switches, relays, contractors, and industrial lighting fixtures.

  Troubleshoot single-phase and three-phase electrical motor circuits, starters (DOL, Star-Delta, VFDs), and control wiring using multimeters, clamp meters, and megohmmeters.

  Execute conduit piping, cable tray installation, cable laying, wire stripping, crimping, and termination as per electrical layout drawings.

  Inspect, maintain, and log operational health of standby diesel generator (DG) sets, UPS systems, power factor correction panels, and industrial battery banks.

  Strict adherence to industrial safety regulations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), electrical grounding/earthing rules, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) practices.

  Maintain logs of daily breakdowns, spare parts consumption, and preventive maintenance checklists; assist supervisors in spare inventory audits

   

  Experience: 0 to 3 yrs

  Education: Any ITI/Diploma Graduation
