  Job Description

  Responsibilities:

  ERA & EOB Payment Posting Execution: Correctly apply electronic remittance advice (ERAs) and manually post paper Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) into EHR platforms and medical billing software for Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, and patient payments.

  Adjustment, Deductible & Co-pay Reconciliation: Apply the appropriate write-off codes to maintain patient ledger balance; confirm contractual fee schedule adjustments, coinsurance, co-pays, and deductible amounts in accordance with payer contracts.

  Denial Code Categorisation and AR Routing: Recognise line-item rejections, partial payments, zero-pay remits, and claim denials; correctly assign reason/remark codes (CARC/RARC) and direct flagged claims to A/R specialist queues for prompt appeal.

  Daily Batch Balancing & Deposit Reconciliation: To guarantee 100% financial balancing, reconcile daily posted payment batches against bank deposit sheets, lockbox statements, clearinghouse ERA reports, and merchant processing logs.
