  Job Description

  Key Skills:

  strong technical understanding of fundamental mechanical engineering concepts, machine design, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, material mechanics, and production procedures.

  advanced knowledge of PDM/PLM documentation workflows and 2D/3D CAD modelling programs (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or CATIA).

  comprehensive knowledge of mechanical fit clearances, tolerance stack-up analysis, and ASME Y14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

  familiarity with stress, deflection, and load verification using structural analysis and FEA tools (Ansys, SolidWorks Simulation).

  practical understanding of typical shop floor procedures, such as heat treatment, casting, welding, injection moulding, sheet metal fabrication, and CNC machining
