• Controlling Daily Tasks as Production Incharge

  Job Description

  Duties:

  Shift Production Leadership & Target Execution: Oversee daily shift production plans and efficiently allocate labour, raw materials, and equipment resources to meet or surpass predetermined output goals across all manufacturing lines.

  Shop-Floor Bottleneck Management & Line Efficiency: To optimise throughput and overall equipment effectiveness, real-time monitor line output, identify production delays, fix operator or technical bottlenecks, and apply line balancing.

  Inter-Departmental Coordination: Work closely with Quality Assurance to get rid of flaws, use TPM to work with Plant Maintenance to reduce unplanned breakdowns, and communicate with Stores/Warehouse to transfer raw materials on time.

  Manpower Management, Shift Scheduling & Discipline: Oversee operator shift rosters, monitor shop floor attendance, uphold worker discipline, hold shift handover briefings, and cultivate an operational ownership, safety, and productivity culture.

  Safety, EHS, and 5S Workplace Governance: Maintain high standards of 5S workplace organization, conduct safety audits, enforce PPE compliance, and enforce stringent Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements on the plant floor.

   

  Focus Skills:

  Plant Floor Leadership & Shift Management: Excellent control over shop floor operations, operator workforce management, arranging shifts, resolving conflicts, and making decisions under pressure.

  Production workflows, assembly/machining methods, line balancing, material flow, tooling preparation, and industrial equipment operation are all thoroughly understood.

  Operational Excellence & Lean Principles: A practical grasp of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), structured problem-solving techniques (8D, 5-Why, CAPA), and Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, SMED, Poka-Yoke).

  Industrial Safety & EHS Compliance: Comprehensive understanding of shop floor statutory compliance, hazard identification, accident prevention procedures, and factory safety standards.
