• Power Conservation Electrical Maintenance Engineer

  Job Description

  Duties:

  Continuous Power Distribution Architecture: Manage the plant's electrical distribution system, which includes transformers, high-voltage substations, air circuit breakers (ACBs), vacuum circuit breakers (VCBs), and main power control centers (PCC), as well as load balancing and structural uptime.

  Automation & Drive Diagnostics Orchestration: Program, calibrate, and troubleshoot automated machine controls, such as localized sensor networks, HMI panels, programmable logic controllers, and variable frequency drives.

  Emergency Emergency Power Backup Readiness: To ensure zero data or process loss during grid drops, maintain full operational readiness of emergency backup systems, such as heavy Diesel Generator (DG) sets, automated transfer switches, and centralized Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) banks.

  Lead engineering investigations into electrical failures and modify relay settings and coordination channels to stop recurrent electrical faults using Root Cause Failure Analysis and Circuit Protection Logic.

   

  Focus Skills:

  Industrial Electrical Engineering & Circuit Logic Mastery: Full operational mastery of electrical machine design, power transformers, switchgear mechanisms, industrial wire logic, and three-phase power principles.

  PLC Automation & Schematic Diagnostic Instincts: Expertise in interpreting intricate electrical engineering blueprints, control circuit drawings, and online PLC ladder processing to identify machine malfunctions.

  Proficiency with Instrumentation and Measuring Tools: Expertise using analytical electrical diagnostic equipment, such as digital multimeters, insulation testers, power quality analyzers, and loop calibrators.

  EHS & Electrical Safety Discipline: Total commitment to strict plant-wide LOTO compliance, grounding/earthing integrity verification, and high-voltage safety regulations.
