  Job Description:

  The main "Design Drafting Anchor, CAD Modelling Specialist, Product Blueprint Engine & Manufacturing Engineering Guardian" for our engineering and manufacturing operations is the AutoCAD Design Engineer in Manufacturing Industries 2D/3D Drafting, Product Design, GD&T, Bill of Materials (BOM), & Engineering Analytics Specialist. Your main task is to produce precise Bills of Materials (BOMs), assembly layouts, component schematics, detailed 2D production drawings, and 3D CAD models while Chief Engineers, R&D Directors, and Product Managers create macro product roadmaps, design standards, and structural specifications. As the "Guardian of Design Precision, Manufacturability, Dimensional Tolerance Integrity, and Drafting Compliance," you assume direct responsibility for converting conceptual concepts into technical documentation that is perfect for manufacture.

   

  Key Skills: 

  Mastery of AutoCAD and Mechanical CAD Software: Expertise in 2D AutoCAD (AutoCAD Mechanical) and knowledge of 3D parametric CAD modelling programs (SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, or CATIA).

  GD&T & Engineering Drawing Standards: Drafting symbols, surface finish callouts, welding notations, ASME Y14.5 standards, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) are all expertly understood.

  Strong knowledge of shop-floor manufacturing procedures, such as CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, casting, injection moulding, welding, and heat treatment, as well as DFM literacy.

  Precision Measurement & Reverse Engineering: Practical experience inspecting items and converting physical geometry into CAD models using precision measurement instruments (callipers, micrometres, gauges).

   

  Experience: 3 to 7 yrs
