  The primary "Revenue Posting Anchor, Cash Application Specialist, EOB/ERA Data Engine & Financial Reconciliation Guardian" for our medical billing and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) operations is the Payment Posting Executive in Medical Billing Cash Application, EOB/ERA Posting, Denial Identification, Reconciliations & Revenue Cycle Operations Specialist. Your main responsibility is to correctly post insurance and patient payments, reconcile electronic remittance advices (ERAs) and explanation of benefits (EOBs), classify claim denials, and balance daily financial batches across healthcare accounts, while RCM directors and billing managers set macroscopic revenue targets, client contracts, and financial compliance roadmaps. As the "Guardian of Posting Accuracy, Ledger Balance Integrity, Denial Identification, and Cash Reconciliation," you have primary responsibility for keeping accurate financial audit trails and patient ledgers.

   

  Key Skills: 

  EOB/ERA Interpretation & Medical Billing Software Command: Proficient in reading and deciphering intricate EOB/ERA remittance forms, claim adjustment reason codes (CARC), and remark codes (RARC) in a variety of major US healthcare software.

  Cash Application & Ledger Balancing precision: Excellent numerical precision in applying fee schedule allowances, balancing batch control totals and matching insurance payments to particular billed line items.

  Denial Identification & RCM Workflow Integration: To provide smooth A/R follow-up, a strong capacity to identify authorisation failures, non-covered service denials, eligibility terminations, and medical necessity rejections.

  HIPAA & Healthcare Data Security Compliance: Strict adherence to financial security controls, PHI laws, and HIPAA privacy requirements.
