  Job Description

  Duties:

  Electrical Maintenance and Breakdown of Plant Machinery Resolution: Quickly identify and fix electrical, electronic, and control-loop issues with production lines, automated assembly units, CNCs, manufacturing equipment, and plant utilities.

  Power Distribution & Switchgear Maintenance: Run and maintain transformers, motor control centers (MCC), air circuit breakers (ACBs), vacuum circuit breakers (VCBs), HT/LT switchgear and automated power factor correction (APFC) panels.

  Troubleshoot PLC inputs and outputs, ladder logic errors, HMI communications, VFD parameter settings, servo systems, and field sensors in PLC diagnostics, VFD tuning, and instrumentation.

  Preventive, Predictive, and Autonomous Maintenance Execution: Create and carry out thermography scans, insulation resistance tests, relay testing, and daily, weekly, and monthly electrical preventive maintenance (PM) programs.

  Enforce stringent lockout/tagout procedures, arc flash protection measures, earthing resistance audits, and statutory electrical inspectorate safety standards in the workplace.

   

  Focus Skills:

  Electrical Fault Diagnostics & Circuit Analysis: Proficiency in tracing, reading, and interpreting intricate electrical schematics, control circuit designs, ladder logic, and single-line diagrams (SLDs) in order to identify malfunctions.

  Automation, Drives & Instrumentation Proficiency: Practical knowledge of industrial control loops, VFD parameter configuration, sensor calibration, and PLC logic debugging (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, Mitsubishi).

  Switchgear and Power Infrastructure Maintenance: Excellent technical understanding of industrial earthing networks, protection relays, circuit breakers, transformer testing, and HT/LT power distribution systems.

  EHS & Electrical Safety Compliance: thorough knowledge of electrical inspection procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO), the National Electrical Code (NEC/IEEE standards), and industrial safety procedures.
