  Job Description

  Responsibilities:

  Insurance AR Follow-Up & Account Auditing: Perform methodical follow-up on medical claims that have been filed with government (Medicare, Medicaid) and commercial insurance payers but have been underpaid, unpaid, or delayed.

  Denial Management & Root-Cause Analysis: To avoid write-offs, examine EOB/ERA denial codes, determine the underlying reasons for claim denials, make prompt adjustments, and submit clean claims again.

  Appeals & Medical Necessity Documentation: To reverse incorrect payer claim denials, draft, assemble, and submit strong formal appeal letters supported by clinical notes, medical necessity documentation, and coding revisions.

  Clearinghouse & Payer Portal Management: To confirm real-time claim status, eligibility, and claim processing guidelines, make use of healthcare clearinghouses and payer web portals.

  Timely filing and compliance Adherence: Make sure that payer-specific timely filing limits, state prompt pay legislation, HIPAA patient privacy regulations, and internal financial compliance standards are all strictly followed.
