  Job Description:

  The main "Quality Assurance Anchor" and "Zero-Defect Process Guardian" of our manufacturing plant operations is the Quality Engineer-Injection Moulding (Plastic Components, Dimensional Metrology & Defect Mitigation Specialist). Your main responsibility is to safeguard, inspect, and improve the structural, aesthetic, and dimensional integrity of every plastic part that comes out of our hydraulic and electric injection moulding machinery presses, while production engineers are solely concerned with meeting volume metrics and machine operators oversee cycle frequencies. This includes the careful observation of assembly lines, secondary processing configurations, and multi-cavity tool inputs.

   

  Key Skills: 

  Advanced Blueprint Reading & GD&T Competency: A thorough comprehension of tolerance frames, datums, concentricity, flatness, and true position variables, as well as complete fluency interpreting complex industrial drawings.

  Injection Moulding Process Literacy: A solid operational grasp of how key processing factors directly affect product dimensions and aesthetic flaws, including melt temperature, injection pressure, holding time, backpressure, and cooling cycles.

  Precision Metrology Instrumentation: The ability to operate specialised inspection tools, such as torque testers, height gauges, digital callipers, pin gauges, CMM equipment, and surface roughness instruments.

  Root Cause Engineering Frameworks: Real-world experience using organised problem-solving techniques in a busy manufacturing facility.

   

  Experience: 3 to 7 yrs
