• SQL Developer SQL Data Analysis & Reporting

  Job Description

  Duties:

  Database Design & Architecture: Design, implement, and maintain normalized relational database schemas, tables, views, indexes, constraints, and data dictionaries across RDBMS platforms (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle).

  Advanced Query & Stored Procedure Engineering: Write, refactor, and tune complex SQL queries, stored procedures, user-defined functions, triggers, and CTEs to support application backends and business reporting.

  Query Performance Optimization: Analyze execution plans, identify index fragmentation, resolve deadlocks and blocking queries, optimize high-latency transactions, and manage database indexing strategies.

  ETL & Data Warehousing: Build, automate, and monitor ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like SSIS, Talend, or Python to extract, transform, and load enterprise data into centralized data warehouses or marts.

  Data Security & Technical Analytics: Implement role-based data access security, back up and restore procedures, track query performance trends, analyze database error logs, and maintain operational tracking spreadsheets

   

  Focus Skills:

  Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or related technical fields.

  Experience: 0 to 3+ years of hands-on experience as a SQL Developer, Database Engineer, or Database Developer in corporate or enterprise settings.

  Technical Mastery: T-SQL / PL-SQL, Relational Data Modeling (3NF / Dimensional Modeling), Query Execution Plan Analysis, Indexing Strategies, SSIS / ETL Tools, Data Warehousing, SQL Profiler / Performance Tuning, and spreadsheet data tracking
