  Role & responsibilities
  
  Plan and execute preventive maintenance for all tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
  Attend tool breakdowns and restore production in minimum time.
  Monitor tool life and schedule timely refurbishment.
  Manufacture and modify tools as per production requirements.
  Coordinate with design and production teams for new tool development.
  Support engineering changes and continuous improvement projects.
  Maintain tool history records and maintenance logs.
  Control tool room inventory, consumables, and spare parts.
  Ensure all repaired and manufactured tools meet drawing specifications.
  Support dimensional inspections and quality improvements.
  Maintain calibration status of gauges and measuring instruments.
