• Production Engineer for Industrial Procedures

  Job Description

  Duties:

  Real-Time Shift Production Execution: Lead and control daily shop-floor production operations across automated assembly paths or heavy machining sectors to hit scheduled shift output quotas.

  OEE Performance Optimisation: Monitor and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) metrics, reducing processing performance deterioration across active equipment, small idle cycles, and machine setup delays.

  Line Balancing & Cycle Time Refinement: To reduce overall assembly cycle durations, distribute job allocations equally and examine structural step sequences to remove line bottlenecks.

  Root Cause Machine Troubleshooting: Collaborate with Maintenance Engineers to identify sudden mechanical or electrical machine breakdowns and carry out prompt repair actions to optimise runtime.

  Shop-Floor 5S & Safety Governance: Enforce clean workstation standards (5S) and rigorous safety rules across your zone, guaranteeing 100% operator compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) mandates.

   

  Focus Skills:

  Manufacturing Process & Machine Control Mastery: The ability to effectively manage manufacturing processes, including stamping lines, automated assembly lines, precision machining centers, and plastic moulding systems.

  Lean Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering Toolsets: A hands-on grasp of Lean principles, such as cycle-time calculations, value stream layouts, 5S procedures, and single-minute die exchanges (SMED).

  Technical Drawing & Process Sheet Literacy: The ability to read layout sheets, standard job descriptions, production blueprints, and operational sequence routings.

  Leadership in the Workforce and Crisis Management Decisiveness: Strong leadership skills to coordinate technical crews, resolve floor disagreements, and make swift queue judgements under tight delivery timeframes.
