  Job Description

  Duties:

  Emergency Breakdown Response: During unexpected machine breakdowns, take the lead in tactical diagnostic diagnosis and mechanical repairs to minimise line stoppages and return plant assets to full production tolerances.

  Preventive & Predictive Execution: Plan, organise, and carry out thorough preventive mechanical maintenance programs that include exact oil analysis runs, structural vibration checks, and dynamic alignment corrections.

  High-pressure hydraulic and pneumatic loops, such as proportionate valves, cylinder seals, accumulator systems, and compressed air distribution loops, should be overhauled, calibrated, and repaired.

  Rebuilding, realigning, and replacing vital machine parts like ball screws, linear guide rails, heavy gearboxes, spindle assemblies, and conveyor power transmissions is known as precision mechanical refurbishment.

  Root-Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA): Use organised frameworks (such as Fishbone maps or 5-Whys) to build long-term mechanical changes while conducting thorough engineering investigations into chronic component failures.

   

  Focus Skills:

  Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and troubleshooting intricate multi-page mechanical blueprints, assembly sectional drawings, hydraulic circuit diagrams, and pneumatic flow maps is the hallmark of precision industrial kinematics mastery.

  Fluid Power Diagnostic Competency: Expertise in managing compressed air system parameters, optimising proportional controls, and fixing high-pressure industrial hydraulic circuits.

  Predictive Diagnostic Tool Literacy: Practical experience using mechanical diagnostic instruments, such as digital vibration analysers, laser alignment kits, ultrasonic detectors, and precise micrometres.

  Proficiency in handling heavy machinery requires a thorough understanding of industrial tolerances, structural fittings and clearances, rigging procedures, and corresponding lubrication chemistry.
