  Your Duties:

  Make outbound calls to commercial, government (Medicare/Medicaid), and private insurance carriers to follow up on pending, unpaid, or denied medical claims.

  Review Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) to identify reasons for claim rejections, partial payments, or short payments.

  Resubmit corrected claims, submit relevant medical records/documentation, and file formal appeals for improperly denied or zero-paid claims.

  Identify underlying billing errors, coding issues (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS), or authorization gaps and route them to billing and coding teams for correction.

  Maintain clean aging buckets by prioritizing high-value and long-standing claims.

  Update client accounts, patient ledgers, and CRM/medical billing software with precise action notes, call call-reference numbers, and claims resolution status.

  Comply strictly with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) privacy guidelines and healthcare billing standards
