  Job Description

  Duties:

  Industrial Equipment Safe Operation: Use heavy-duty electric pallet jacks, reach trucks, and counterbalance forklifts safely to move items through tight warehouse aisles and busy manufacturing hallways.

  Inbound and Outbound Material Staging: Accurately load and unload shipping containers, freight trucks and flatbeds; verify intake accuracy by comparing physical shipping numbers with packing documentation.

  LineFeeding & Work-in-Progress Logistics: To avoid floor famine, supply raw castings, metal coils, or hardware boxes on a rigorous just-in-time schedule to active production lines, CNC machining clusters, or assembly bays.

  High-Tier Racking & Inventory Organization: Adhere to stringent weight limit regulations and load center-of-gravity guidelines when stacking and retrieving loaded inventory pallets into multi-level vertical racking arrays.

  Pre-Shift Equipment Safety Auditing: Every day, do the required pre-operational vehicle inspections, which include examining the tyre condition, hydraulic fluid levels, lift chain tensions, brake responsiveness and horn functionality.

   

  Focus Skills:

  Precision Industrial Vehicle Manoeuvring: The ability to effortlessly manoeuvre industrial trucks around tight curves, through massive dock doors and past delicate line equipment without making touch thanks to advanced muscle memory and spatial judgement.

  The ability to precisely estimate load combinations, compute lift capacity limits depending on mast height, and modify fork spreads to accommodate wide or imbalanced cargo weight configurations is known as load balancing and capacity calibration.

  Shipping Documentation & Label Literacy: Demonstrated proficiency in accurately reading and verifying inventory routing sheets, pallet manifest barcodes, bills of lading (BOL), and danger classification placards.

  Environmental and Hazard Awareness: High sensory awareness to identify moving pedestrian traffic, oil puddles, floor litter, and overhead clearance restrictions in busy, noisy store settings.
