  Job Description:

  The primary "Electrical Equipment Reliability Anchor" and "Power Systems Maintenance Leader" for our manufacturing and industrial processing operations is the Electrical Maintenance Engineer-Plant Operations, Equipment Reliability, Power Distribution & Preventive Maintenance. Your main responsibility is to plan, carry out, monitor, and optimise preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance across all electrical equipment, power distribution assets, motor control systems, and automated machinery, while project teams concentrate on capital expansions and plant managers set daily output targets. As the "Guardian of Electrical Up-time, Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), Electrical Safety Protocols, and Zero Unplanned Outages," you assume direct responsibility for maintaining the safe and dependable operation of plant electrical systems.

   

  Key Skills: 

  Industrial Electrical Equipment Maintenance: Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing circuit breakers (ACB/VCB), transformers, MCC panels, induction motors, and medium/low voltage switchgear.

  Drives, Relays & Control Automation Literacy: Practical expertise in soft starters, protection relays, relay logic integration with PLCs, and parameter setting, testing, and troubleshooting VFDs (Siemens, ABB, Schneider, Danfoss).

  Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), arc flash safety requirements, national and international electrical codes, grounding grid testing, and industrial safety licenses are all important aspects of electrical safety and statutory regulations.

  Diagnostic tools, single-line diagrams, and schematics: proficiency with power quality analysers, meggers, multimeters, thermal cameras, control schematics, cable schedules, and single-line diagrams (SLDs).
