  Job Description:

  The main "Data Architecture & Database Performance Anchor" for our software development, business intelligence, and enterprise data operations is the SQL Developer Database Development, Performance Tuning, ETL Pipelines & Data Architecture. Your main responsibility is to design, construct, optimise, and maintain reliable relational database objects, complex queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and automated Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) data pipelines, while front-end application developers create user interfaces and system administrators manage hardware infrastructure. As the "Guardian of Database Scalability, Query Execution Speed, Data Integrity, Index Efficiency, and Zero Data Loss Operations," you assume direct responsibility for transforming unprocessed database functions into highly efficient, safe, and crucial data assets.

   

  Key Skills: 

  Expert-level proficiency in developing advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, multi-statement functions, complicated joins, subqueries, analytical window functions, and dynamic SQL across the main RDBMS platforms (MS SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) is required for advanced SQL, T-SQL, and PL-SQL mastery.

  Analysing execution plans, using SQL Profiler and Extended Events, setting up index strategies, controlling index fragmentation, adjusting memory allocation, and resolving blocking/deadlocks are all part of query profiling and index optimisation.

  Strong knowledge of Relational Database Design (3NF), Dimensional Data Modelling (data warehousing, OLTP vs. OLAP systems), table segmentation, and data archiving techniques.

  ETL Engineering & Data Integration: Practical knowledge of ETL tools (SSIS, ADF, Informatica, Talend, or Python/SQL scripts) for creating reliable, error-handled, and scheduled data pipelines.

   

  Experience: 3 to 7 yrs
