  Job Description

  Duties:

  Backend Application & Microservices Development: Using Python frameworks like Django, FastAPI, or Flask, design, develop, implement, and manage reliable, scalable, and high-performing backend apps and microservices.

  API Design, Integration, and Documentation: Create safe RESTful and GraphQL APIs, put authentication and authorisation systems in place, include third-party web services, and produce thorough API documentation.

  Database Integration & ORM Optimisation: Optimise relational and NoSQL database interactions by writing effective database queries using Object-Relational Mappers and raw SQL.

  Asynchronous Architecture & Background Processing: To manage concurrent workloads, file processing, and real-time streaming data, design background job processing systems and task queues using Celery, Redis, RabbitMQ, and AsyncIO.

  Code Quality, Automated Testing, and Security: Write unit/integration tests using PyTest or Unittest, do peer code reviews, maintain clean, scalable code bases in accordance with PEP 8 recommendations, and fix application security flaws.

   

  Focus Skills:

  Core Python Mastery & Framework Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Python 3.x, functional paradigms, dynamic typing, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and practical expertise with web frameworks (FastAPI, Django, or Flask).

  API Architecture & Asynchronous Computing: proficiency with distributed task queues (Celery, Redis, RabbitMQ), asynchronous execution (AsyncIO, Event Loops), and RESTful/GraphQL API architecture.

  Database Management & ORM Proficiency: Practical knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL), NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis), schema migrations (Alembic, Django Migrations), and SQLAlchemy/Django ORM query performance tuning.

  Software Testing & DevOps Integration: Proficient with Docker containerisation, version control systems, automated testing tools, and fundamental CI/CD pipeline integration.
