• Urgent Hiring for CNC Machine Operator

  Job Description

  Duties:

  CNC Machine Setup & Operation: On CNC lathes, VMCs, or horizontal machining centers, load raw materials, install fixtures, and run authorised G-code/M-code programs.

  Blueprint Reading & Dimensional Inspection: Use callipers, micrometres, height gauges, bore gauges, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing callouts to interpret technical engineering drawings and confirm part dimensions against tolerances.

  Tooling Management & Offset Adjustments: To maintain stringent dimensional control, keep an eye on cutting tool wear, replace worn inserts or drills, carry out tool preset procedures, and modify work coordinate offsets or wear offsets.

  In-Process Quality Control: To avoid mass defects, conduct initial and recurring in-process quality inspections, document dimensional measurements on inspection check sheets, and quarantine non-conforming items right away.

  Regular Machine Maintenance & TPM: Carry out daily duties related to Autonomous Maintenance and Total Productive Maintenance, such as checking coolant concentration, keeping an eye on lubricating oil levels, cleaning chips, and examining hydraulic pressures.

   

  Focus Skills:

  CNC Machine Operating & Machining Literacy: Good working understanding of control panels, G-code/M-code command structures, VMC or HMC equipment, and CNC lathes.

  Precision Metrology & Instrument Handling: Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as thread gauges, height gauges, dial test indicators (DTI), outside/inside micrometres, and vernier callipers.

  Blueprint Reading and GD&T Knowledge: The capacity to comprehend projection views, read intricate mechanical engineering drawings, and decipher GD&T symbols (flatness, runout, concentricity, perpendicularity).

  Machining and Tooling Fundamentals: A practical grasp of workpiece clamping methods, coolant application, chip evacuation, insert grades, feed rates, and cutting speeds.
