• Maintenance Engineer for Equipment Optimization

  Job Description

  Who you are: 

  For mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment, plan, schedule, and carry out preventive and predictive maintenance procedures. To reduce production downtime, diagnose and fix complicated equipment faults, such as those involving PLCs, drives, motors, pumps, and conveyors. Use root-cause methods (5-Why, RCFA) to analyse equipment failure data in order to put long-term countermeasures in place. Manage the operation of utility infrastructure, such as power distribution systems, boilers, chillers, air compressors, and HVAC systems. Reduce stockouts by identifying essential spares, establishing reorder levels, and working with procurement to manage spare parts inventory. Work together with the production and EHS teams to make sure that all maintenance procedures adhere to legal requirements and industrial safety standards. Encourage projects for Continuous Improvement (Kaizen), Autonomous Maintenance, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
