  Job Description

  Duties:

  Microservices Architecture & Core Python Development: Using Python (Python 3.10+), FastAPI, Django, or Flask, design, develop, and implement safe, scalable, and high-performing backend microservices and RESTful APIs while adhering to async paradigms and clean architecture principles.

  Database Design and Query Optimisation: Create high-throughput NoSQL document/key-value stores and normalised relational schemas (PostgreSQL, MySQL); optimise complicated SQL queries, database indexing, and ORM usage to remove performance bottlenecks.

  Asynchronous Processing & Distributed Systems Integration: To handle high-concurrency enterprise workloads, use Celery, Redis, Apache Kafka, or RabbitMQ to implement pub/sub pipelines, distributed event streaming, and background job queues.

  Code Quality, Automated Testing, and Security Enforcement: Use pytest, Mock, and Testcontainers to create reliable unit, integration, and end-to-end test suites with high code coverage; apply OAuth2, JWT authentication protocols, OWASP security best practices, and static analysis tools.

   

  Focus Skills:

  Core Python & Framework Mastery: Extensive technical knowledge of Flask, Django, FastAPI, Django REST Framework (DRF), and contemporary Python.

  Microservices Design & API Engineering: Practical experience creating distributed microservices architectures, creating RESTful and GraphQL interfaces with OpenAPI/Swagger documentation, overseeing API gateways, and putting resiliency strategies in place.

  Databases, ORMs, and Async Task Handling: Expertise in query tuning, Redis caching techniques, PostgreSQL/MySQL schema design, SQLAlchemy/Django ORM optimisation, and Celery/RabbitMQ/Kafka integration.

  Testing, CI/CD, Containerisation, and Cloud Literacy: Demonstrated proficiency with mocking techniques, Docker multi-stage builds, Kubernetes pod deployment, Git workflow (GitFlow), and Cloud Platforms
