  Your Duties:

  ERA Auto-Posting & Manual EOB Cash Posting: Accurately process and post Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and high-volume Electronic Remittance Advices (ERAs) for commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid payers into Practice Management software.

  Contractual Adjustment & Patient Responsibility Allocation: Assign deductibles, co-insurance, co-payments, and non-covered amounts to patient balances or secondary claims by applying the proper contractual allowances based on payer fee schedules.

  Denial Identification & Immediate Routing: Determine partial payments, zero-payment vouchers, and claim denial codes (CARC/RARC), correctly tag denial reason codes in the system, and forward claims to the Denial Management and AR teams for settlement.

  Daily Batch Balancing & Bank Reconciliation: To guarantee complete financial alignment, balance daily posted payment batches against bank deposit slips, credit card processing reports, and Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) alerts.

  Secondary Insurance & Patient Statement Triggers: To automatically initiate the creation of secondary or tertiary insurance claims or to release clean statements for patient billing, confirm the accuracy of the initial payment posting.
