SolidWorks Engineer Precision Engineering Applications
Job Description
Responsibilities:
3D Parametric Modelling & Assembly Design: Use SolidWorks to create intricate 3D parametric parts, sheet metal components, weldments, and large-scale mechanical assemblies while guaranteeing well-defined drawings, ideal feature trees, and effective assembly frameworks.
DFMA, Sheet Metal & Tooling Integration: Create precise sheet metal flat patterns, create jigs, fixtures, or press tooling to support shop-floor production, and use create for Manufacturability and Assembly principles.
2D Detailing, GD&T & Tolerance Stack-Up: Using section views, exploded assembly layouts, tolerance stack-up analysis, and ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards, generate manufacturing-ready 2D production drawings from 3D models.
FEA Simulation & Motion Analysis: To maximise material utilisation, guarantee structural safety margins, and assess dynamic component interference, perform fundamental structural, thermal, and stress analyses using SolidWorks Simulation.
Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
Education: Diploma/BE in Mech
