  Job Description

  Duties:

  Shift Maintenance Leadership & Work Order Execution: Manage daily preventive maintenance (PM) procedures, prioritise emergency breakdown work orders, lead and allocate shift responsibilities to mechanical and electrical personnel, and guarantee that production lines are disrupted as little as possible.

  Breakdown Coordination & Technical Supervision: During complicated machinery breakdowns (hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical), provide direct on-the-floor technical guidance; confirm root cause resolution before returning equipment to production teams.

  TPM Implementation & Autonomous Maintenance Support: Ensure adherence to 5S standards in tool rooms and maintenance work areas, train machine operators on Autonomous Maintenance (Jishu Hozen) tasks, and enforce TPM practices throughout shifts.

  Safety Enforcement & Permit-to-Work Compliance: Ensure zero-compromise adherence to plant EHS rules, audit technician PPE compliance, issue Permit-to-Work forms for hot work or elevated repairs, and strictly enforce Lockout/Tagout protocols.

   

  Focus Skills:

  Shop-Floor Maintenance Supervision & Technical Leadership: Demonstrated capacity to oversee, educate, and mentor interdisciplinary groups of utility, mechanical, and electrical maintenance professionals in high-volume plant settings.

  Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Electrical Troubleshooting Capabilities: Practical supervisory expertise in identifying low-voltage electrical systems, motor controls, hydraulic/pneumatic circuits, and mechanical faults (bearings, gearboxes, and pumps).

  Work Order Management & CMMS System Operations: Excellent expertise with CMMS software, administering digital or physical work order systems, tracking breakdown information, and performing PM audits.

  Industrial Safety Standards & Permit Control Discipline: In-depth operational understanding of plant EHS standards, high-risk task management, job safety analysis (JSA), lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and Permit-to-Work (PTW) issuance.
