  Job Description

  Who you are: 

  Use AutoCAD to create, edit, and finalise structural layouts, piping/electrical schematics, assembly views, and comprehensive 2D manufacturing drawings. Define surface finish and fit specifications for components, conduct tolerance stack-up analysis, and apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing in accordance with ASME Y14.5 and ISO standards. Maintain and update utility routing drawings, machinery locations, and master plant layouts; conduct Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) evaluations with production teams. While upholding stringent drawing version control, produce precise component Bills of Materials, material take-offs, and process Engineering Change Orders. Use daily engineering tracking spreadsheets to keep an eye on project milestone progress, engineering change request lead times, drawing error rates, and drawing release schedules.
