  Medical Billing & EOB/ERA Processing Mastery: Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and correctly posting both paper and electronic Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from commercial and governmental payers (835 ERA).

  Cash Application & Bank Reconciliation Proficiency: Practical experience maintaining lockbox files, handling EFTs, balancing daily payment batches against bank deposits, and resolving balance problems.

  Denial Code & Contractual Adjustment Recognition: A thorough comprehension of write-offs, permitted amounts, patient responsibility regulations, Claim Adjustment Reason Codes (CARC), and Remittance Advice Remark Codes (RARC).

  Practice Management (PM) & EHR Software Navigation: Useful knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) and healthcare billing software

   

  Experience: 3 to 7 yrs
