  Job Description

  Who you are: 

  Create, evaluate, and test circuits for analogue, digital, microcontrollers, and power supplies; examine PCB schematic capture, component selection, layer stackups, signal/power integrity, and thermal dissipation performance. Work with production teams to optimise Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Through-Hole Technology (THT) assembly; address component placement concerns, reflow profile variances, and solder joint faults (bridging, tombstoning, voiding). To validate constructed PCBAs prior to final casing and shipment, create, program, and manage automated Functional Test and In-Circuit Test systems, test jigs, and diagnostic firmware. Use oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analysers to find short circuits, faulty integrated circuits, or design marginalities. Conduct component-level troubleshooting on defective electronic boards rejected during manufacturing or field trials.
