• AR Caller Medical RCM & Payer Follow-Up

  Job Description

  Who you are: 

  Follow up on outstanding, unpaid, or rejected medical claims by making outgoing calls to commercial, government (Medicare/Medicaid), and private insurance companies.

  Examine the Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) and Explanation of Benefits (EOB) to determine the reasons behind short payments, partial payments, and claim denials.

  Resubmit amended claims, provide pertinent medical documents and supporting data, and pursue formal appeals for claims that were incorrectly rejected or paid nothing.

  Send any underlying billing faults, coding problems, or authorisation gaps to the coding and billing teams so they can be fixed.

  Prioritise long-standing and high-value claims to keep your ageing buckets clean.

  Add accurate action notes, call call-reference numbers, and the status of claims resolution to client accounts, patient ledgers, and CRM/medical billing applications.

  Observe the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act's (HIPAA) privacy regulations and medical billing standards to the letter.
