  Job Description

  The Service Engineer in Manufacturing Industries is responsible for delivering comprehensive on-site installation, commissioning, diagnostic troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance for industrial machinery, equipment, and automation systems at customer locations. Acting as the primary technical liaison between the manufacturing firm and its clients, this role ensures optimal machine performance, resolves critical operational failures, provides technical training to client operators, and drives high customer satisfaction.

   

  Key Duties

  Install, align, test, and commission new industrial machinery and production systems on-site at customer sites.

  During emergency breakdown service calls, troubleshoot and diagnose complicated mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and automation faults.

  To guarantee long-term equipment dependability, schedule preventive maintenance visits, system calibrations, software upgrades, and inspections.

  Give client plant operators, maintenance teams, and engineers thorough technical training and operational briefings on safe equipment use and maintenance.

  Examine equipment performance problems, conduct root-cause analysis, and put long-term technical fixes in place.

  Oversee field service reporting, keep track of machine service logs, handle warranty claims, and work with internal plant supply teams to replace spare parts.

  Maintain good customer relations, spot chances for service agreements or equipment upgrades, and give the internal R&D and manufacturing engineering teams technical input.
