  Job Description:

  The Production Incharge in Manufacturing Industries is responsible for leading complete plant shop-floor production operations, meeting daily/monthly manufacturing targets, and managing shift supervisors and production manpower. Working closely with Production Planning & Control (PPC), Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Plant Leadership, this role ensures optimal machine utilization, cycle-time adherence, process cost control, and strict compliance with shop-floor safety and quality standards to drive maximum Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)

   

  Key Skills: 

  Strong leadership, team-building, and operational management skills to manage large, multi-shift shop-floor workforces.

  In-depth expertise in manufacturing processes (machining, assembly, sheet metal, stamping, casting, or molding) and line layout optimization.

  Practical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, 5S, Kaizen, 8D problem-solving tools, and TPM execution.

  Deep understanding of shop-floor technical documentation, route sheets, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and engineering drawings.

  Hands-on proficiency with ERP manufacturing modules (SAP PP, Oracle, or MES) and MS Excel for daily production reporting and target tracking
