  Responsibilities:

  Oversee day-to-day shop floor operations to guarantee that output metrics, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and shift production targets are regularly fulfilled.

  Throughout the manufacturing process, keep an eye on product quality and work with the Quality and Maintenance teams to promptly address line downtime and defect patterns.

  Utilise Lean Manufacturing techniques (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, SMED) to optimise cycle times, remove bottlenecks, and streamline processes.

  Create and maintain work instructions, routing sheets, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for assembly and processing lines.

  To maximise output and labour utilisation, control line balancing, material flow, and manpower deployment.

  To put remedial measures in place, do root cause analysis (RCA) on yield declines, production losses, and non-conformances.

  Assure complete adherence to legal safety requirements and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies on the shop floor.

   

  Required Skills: 

  Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, line balancing, capacity planning, and shop floor management.

  Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodology, and 5S execution.

  Hands-on experience with production monitoring metrics.

  Basic working knowledge of CAD software, ERP systems, and MS Excel for production data tracking.

  Excellent leadership, time management, and cross-functional communication skills.
