  Your Duties:

  Patient Demographic Entry & Registration: Correctly enter patient personal information from hospital face sheets and registration forms into practice management systems and electronic health records.

  Insurance Eligibility & Coverage Verification: Use payer portals and automated eligibility clearinghouses to confirm current insurance coverage, policy/group numbers, copay/deductible amounts, and coverage effective dates.

  Guarantor and Payer Hierarchy Management: Properly assign primary, secondary, and tertiary insurance payers; correctly set up billing address hierarchies, relationship codes, and guarantor demographic information.

  Front-End Clearinghouse Edit & Rejection Resolution: Before billing, correct faulty address formats, missing subscriber DOBs, or mismatched insurance policy IDs by scrubbing newly generated patient accounts against clearinghouse pre-edit rules.

  Account Audit & Demographic Reconciliation: To guarantee 100% registration coverage without missing or duplicate patient profiles, audit daily patient registration batches against clinic appointment logs and facility admission rosters.
