  Experience: 3 to 6 yrs

  Focus Skills:

  VMC Machine Setup & Mechanical Calibration Mastery: Practical experience configuring 3-, 4-, or 5-axis Vertical Machining Centers (VMC), including rotary axis zeroing, fixture tramming, vice alignment, and jaw boring.

  Tooling Assembly & Touch Probe Operations: Proficiency in choosing tool holders, torquing collets, operating tool presetters, and using automated touch probes (Renishaw/Blum) for measuring tool length and diameter and work offsets.

  G-Code Verification & Controller Operation: A thorough grasp of G-code/M-code structures, block deletion, single block execution, feed/spindle override management, and manual program modification at the controller.

  Precision Metrology & GD&T Blueprint Reading: The capacity to use precision metrology tools, decipher Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) symbols, and understand complicated mechanical drawings.
