  Job Description

  The principal "Electrical Power Infrastructure Lead, High-Voltage & Low-Voltage Equipment Specialist, Drive & Control Troubleshooter, Electrical Safety Guardian & Power Quality Integration Specialist" in all of our operational facilities is the Electrical Engineer-Power Systems, Electrical Equipment Maintenance, Industrial Automation, Plant Electrical Safety & Electrical Analytics Specialist. Your main responsibility is to design, install, maintain, optimise, and guarantee peak operational reliability of all electrical power distribution systems, motor control centers, industrial drives, switchgear, and control systems, while Engineering Directors, Operations Managers, Plant Heads, and Infrastructure Directors set overall facility power allocations, capital expenditure (CapEx) budgets, plant expansion projects, and energy management targets.

   

  Key Duties

  Power Distribution & Electrical Equipment Maintenance: Arrange, plan, and carry out routine preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance for diesel generators, circuit breakers, transformers, motor control centers, variable frequency drives, high-voltage and low-voltage switchgear, and UPS systems.

  Electrical Troubleshooting & Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCA): Quickly identify and fix complicated electrical problems, relay tripping, motor burnouts, short circuits, and abnormalities in control wiring; spearhead Root Cause Failure Analysis to get rid of persistent power outages.

  Power Quality & Energy Efficiency Optimisation: To reduce total operating power costs, monitor plant electrical load parameters, harmonics, voltage sags, and power factor correction systems. Put energy-saving measures into place and optimise transformer/generator loading.

  Control Panel & Drive Automation Support: Help automation teams with motor starter configurations, soft starts, servo drives, and sensor/actuator field cabling. Read, understand, and update electrical single-line diagrams, schematic drawings, and control logic layouts.
