  Your Duties:

  Demographic & Insurance Verification Entry: Fill out Practice Management (PM) software with patient demographic data, insurance policy details, guarantor information, and coverage tier structures without making any mistakes.

  Charge Entry & Coding Scrubbing: To correctly enter CPT procedure codes, ICD-10 diagnostic codes, HCPCS codes, and relevant modifiers, examine clinical superbills, operative notes, and encounter forms.

  Charge Capture & Reconciliation: To find unbilled visits, missing charges, and revenue leakage, reconcile daily appointment schedules and provider logs against entered charges.

  Clearinghouse Edit and Rejection Resolution: Before submitting an insurance claim, keep an eye out for and fix front-end clearinghouse claim revisions, syntax mistakes, missing provider taxonomy information, and eligibility rejections.

  Fee Schedule & Payer Rule Compliance: Verify that entered charge amounts, units, and billing codes correspond to particular provider fee schedules, CCI amendments, and commercial/government payer rules.
