  Job Description

  Duties:

  Breakdown & EmergencyRectification: In order to reduce production downtime, oversee quick troubleshooting and repair operations during machine breakdowns, restoring hydraulic pressures, fixing electrical circuit faults, and resolving PLC issues.

  Preventative and Predictive Maintenance: Carry out organised preventative maintenance plans, such as examining hydraulic pump vibration metrics, auditing barrel heater loops, confirming tie-bar parallelism, and inspecting toggle lubrication lines.

  Overhaul of Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems: Maintain, adjust, and reassemble heavy hydraulic equipment, such as accumulators, clamping cylinders, high-pressure pumps, proportional flow control valves, and directional control networks.

  Spare Parts Inventory Engineering: Make sure there are no stockouts for high-risk wear components by monitoring and auditing the inventory status of vital machinery spares, such as specialised seals, heater bands, thermocouples, and electronic contactors.

  Electrical and PLC Automation Diagnostics: Decipher intricate electrical schematics to identify problems with solid-state relays, variable frequency drives, machine control cabinets, and PLC input/output cards.

   

  Focus Skills:

  Advanced Schematic & Circuit Literacy: Total proficiency with multi-page electrical wiring schematics, pneumatic layouts, and industrial hydraulic circuit diagrams.

  Injection Moulding Machine Anatomy Mastery: Thorough mechanical comprehension of injection unit screw-and-barrel configurations, tie-bar strain behaviours, and toggle-clamp and direct-hydraulic clamping mechanisms.

  Industrial Automation & PLC Diagnostics: Excellent ability to navigate machine control screens and identify problems with PLC tracking nodes, thermocouples, proximity sensors, and linear transducers.

  Strict Adherence to the Safety Framework: Complete dedication to industrial safety procedures, including stringent Lockout-Tagout isolation procedures prior to performing internal machine maintenance.
