• Assembly Engineer Standards & Quality Improvement

  Job Description:

  Responsibilities:

  Plan, define, and optimize manual, semi-automated, and automated assembly line processes and workstation layouts.

  Conduct Time and Motion studies, line balancing, and cycle time analyses to optimize assembly workflows and eliminate bottlenecks.

  Design, select, and implement specialized assembly tooling, ergonomic workholding fixtures, poka-yoke (error-proofing) devices, and automated torque equipment.

  Draft, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WI), Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), and Assembly Control Plans.

  Lead root-cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions (CAPA) for line defects, warranty issues, and non-conformances using 8D and 5-Why methodologies.

  Partner with Product Design and R&D teams during Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) reviews to ensure new products can be efficiently assembled on the production floor.

  Train assembly technicians and operators on new product assembly processes, safety protocols, and quality standards

   

  Experience: 0 to 3 yrs

  Education: Any ITI/Diploma Graduation
