  Job Description

  The Production Associate executes hands-on component assembly, machine loading/unloading, manual fitting, line packaging, and first-line quality inspections across manufacturing operations. This role focuses on maintaining steady line speed, achieving daily target outputs, adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs), enforcing shop-floor safety (5S/EHS), and logging production throughput metrics.

   

  Key Duties

  Line Assembly & activities: Use hand tools, torque wrenches, pneumatic tools, and press equipment to carry out repetitive manual, semi-automated, or automated assembly activities while adhering to stringent SOPs.

  Work-in-Progress (WIP) and Machine Feeding: Safely move WIP materials between workstations, load raw materials into production machines, and unload completed components.

  In-Process Quality Inspection: To identify surface flaws, burrs, or assembly mistakes early on, do visual inspection and basic dimensions checks using go/no-go gauges, callipers, and visual standards.

  Shop-Floor Safety & 5S: Keep workplaces tidy and orderly in accordance with 5S principles; adhere to lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and environmental health and safety (EHS) regulations.

  Production Data Logging: On shop-floor tracking logsheets and spreadsheets, note daily output counts, hourly target deviations, rejection numbers and reasons for line downtime.
