  Job Description

  Responsibilities:

  Oversee daily shop-floor manufacturing processes, machine capacity utilization, and manpower deployment across production lines.

  Develop, standardize, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Standard Work Instructions (SWI), process flow charts, and routing sheets.

  Conduct time and motion studies, line balancing, and cycle-time analysis (MOST/MTM) to identify process bottlenecks and maximize line throughput.

  Collaborate with Design and Tool Room teams to implement Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and poka-yoke (mistake-proofing) mechanisms on fixtures and tools.

  Drive Lean Manufacturing methodologies including 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Single-Minute Exchange of Die (SMED), and Kanban systems to optimize material flow and eliminate waste.

  Investigate internal rejections, line stoppages, and component non-conformances alongside Quality and Maintenance teams, executing 8D Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and CAPA.

  Track and report operational performance metrics including Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Line Yield, Scrap Rate, and Labor Productivity to plant leadership

   

  Experience: 0 to 3 yrs

  Education: Diploma/BE in Mech
