  Job Description

  The Java Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying high-performance enterprise applications, backend microservices, and RESTful APIs using Java and the Spring ecosystem. Working across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within Agile environments, this role focuses on writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code, integrating relational/NoSQL databases, optimizing system performance, and ensuring seamless integration with cloud infrastructure

   

  Key Duties

  Design, build, and maintain reliable and scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Java (Java 11/17/21) and Spring Boot/Spring Framework.

  Create and optimize database schemas, queries, and object-relational mapping (ORM) using Hibernate, JPA, and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle DB). 

  Implement asynchronous messaging, event-driven architectures, and task queues using Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or JMS.

  Write complex unit, integration and performance tests using JUnit, Mockito, Testcontainers and Postman to ensure code reliability and CI/CD compatibility. 

  Work with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and systems architects to deploy microservices on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) using Docker and Kubernetes.

  Implement strong application security measures using Spring Security, OAuth2, JWT, and HTTPS/TLS encryption standards.

  Perform root-cause analysis, debug production performance bottlenecks, resolve memory leaks, and maintain thorough technical documentation for APIs and systems
