• AutoCAD Design Engineer Tooling & Mechanical Design

  Job Description:

  Responsibilities:

  Prepare detailed 2D engineering drawings, mechanical component layouts, and assembly schematics using AutoCAD.

  Generate and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM), engineering change notices (ECNs), and revision histories for production components.

  Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to ensure component fitment, functionality, and manufacturability.

  Support plant layout modifications, machine installation drawings, and line balancing schemes in collaboration with Plant Engineering.

  Assist in designing jigs, fixtures, press tools, and specialized manufacturing equipment components.

  Review incoming supplier/customer designs and perform design calculations prior to release.

  Maintain organized drawing archives and manage document control protocols within Product Data Management (PDM) / Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems

   

  Experience: 0 to 3 yrs

  Education: Diploma/BE in Mech
